Rob Ambler, FOUNDER
Our founder, Rob is a proud, lifelong Bucks County resident who has spent decades studying hardscaping artisanship and our area’s flora, seasonality, and soil composition. Rob is dedicated to sharing his perfected approach to outdoor living, from landscape and hardscape design to lawn care and maintenance. Every piece of knowledge he’s gleaned over this time he has passed along to his team members, many of whom have been with him for years.
Chad Kirk, operational management
Chad Kirk, a Bucks County native, is the General Manager at Ambler. He resides in Perkasie with his family—wife Danielle, son Ty, and daughter Ella. Chad’s journey at Ambler began as the Construction Manager, and his role has evolved with the company’s growth. Drawing on over a decade of experience with Fortune 500 companies equips him with a deep understanding of effective business systems. Chad now oversees finance, human resources, and policy implementation, driving Ambler’s dedication to achieving excellence.
Austin Pfaff, Head of Operations
Austin brings eight years of dedicated service to Ambler Industries. Starting his journey as a mowing foreman, Austin has steadily risen through the ranks, showcasing exceptional leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to excellence. In his current role as Head of Operations, Austin oversees the intricate workings of Ambler Industries' day-to-day activities. His experience and eye for detail allow him to streamline operations seamlessly, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Andrew Opalka, management and foreman
Andrew, a dedicated Bucks County local, began his career in the landscape and maintenance industry right after high school. While pursuing his studies at West Chester University, he continued to work in this field, balancing both commitments effectively. After graduating, Andrew transitioned to the corporate world but later chose to return to his roots in hardscaping. Today, he serves as the Construction Manager at Ambler, where his hard work and dedication ensure that construction crews operate smoothly and efficiently.
Brandon Birkhead, Excellence Coordinator
Brandon serves as the Excellence Coordinator for Ambler Industries LLC, bringing with him a lifelong passion for commercial landscaping that ignited at the age of 12. Graduating from Central Bucks East with a strong athletic background and a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing the Bucks County area, Brandon has been an active contributor to the community throughout his life. He is eagerly looking forward to meeting you and leveraging his expertise to transform your landscape, making him a valuable asset to both Ambler Industries and our clients.
John Santilli, LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
John is a graduate of Temple University with degrees in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, and Horticulture. He has been associated with all aspects of the landscape industry for more than two decades. His philosophy is based on combining the simplistic with the artistic for a most successful landscape design–yet never losing touch with clients’ needs and aspirations.
Laurie Lapatina, Office Manager
Laurie came on board in Spring of 2024. She brings with her 20 years of office experience including exceptional organization skills and meticulous attention to detail. Her extensive background in managing office operations has honed her ability to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support team productivity. Known for her reliability and commitment to any task assigned to her makes her a great asset.
Amy Houser, Excellence Coordinator
Amy joined Ambler Industries in 2024, bringing with her over 20 years of distinguished experience in customer service. Known for her exceptional focus and strong communication skills, Amy excels in understanding and addressing client needs. Her dedication to thorough follow-up ensures that every client interaction is handled with care and precision. With a proven track record of fostering positive client relationships, Amy continues to enhance Ambler Industries' commitment to outstanding service and client satisfaction.
Sarah Alu, Office Administrative Assistant
Sarah joined Ambler Industries in March 2021. She was initially hired as a receptionist due to her previous client service experience and her kind, patient, and polite demeanor. Her dedication and hard work promoted her to the role of Office Administrative Assistant. In this capacity, she supports the Office Team, meticulously handles client inquiries, manages data entry, and provides administrative assistance across various departments. Her attention to detail and adherence to processes makes Sarah a valuable asset to the team. She consistently ensures accuracy and efficiency in her work.
Kevin Galik, Truck & Equipment Manager
Kevin began his journey with us in 2020 as a part of our mowing team. After rapid growth he was promoted to a foreman and held that position for the last three years. He was recently recognized for his hard work, dedication and skills and was promoted again to Truck & Equipment Manager. He ensures all vehicles and equipment is as safe as it is effective for every crew member. As a lifelong resident of Central Bucks, and graduate of Central Bucks East, Kevin strives to enhance his community day in and day out.
