Petrick Lane

This front yard overhaul included building retaining walls and a full landscape design.

When buying a new construction home, landscaping is often minimal or nonexistent. When the homeowners approached us with their project, we were given the advantage of a completely blank slate. The disadvantage, however, was the very steep grade coming from the front door landing down to the end of the house. To provide a more visually appealing entry, we opted for installing two-tiered retaining walls. This created a level sight line when viewing the front of the home. We then filled the retaining walls with an elegant and European style landscape to match the aesthetic of the home. The walkway leading to the front of the home matched with the paver driveway apron and helped tie this project together for a cohesive look. All these elements took this new home and gave it the illusion of being apart of this neighborhood for years.
